Mommy Monday: Meet My Hubby

Isn't that one cute family on the cover
of Children & Libraries' current issue?

Behind (or next to) every good AuthorMom there's usually a supportive spouse, right?  Well, in my case it's very true.

Today, I invite you to meet my husband, Baptiste Paul.  He has just put up his very own one-page website at baptistepaul.com.

I'm sure you'll love him as much as I do!

Now, do you have great family support?  If so, give your spouse, kids, or whomever a shout-out for helping you accomplish your writing goals and dreams!  Comments are open below.

Obviously, I want to give a shout out to my wonderful kids who both encourage and critique me with the utmost honesty and enthusiasm.

Can't wait to hear who all of you want to give a shout-out to!

Yep, my wife supports, critiques, and encourages me. She knows what it means to have a dream and follow it. She opened a magic shop in '93, has preformed in Vegas, in the Women of Magic, and Atlantic City and is a professional clown. She understands what it means to devote time to a craft.

I give a shout-out to my little Mommy, 'cause she's the one that told me to go after my dream if I wanted it. I wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for her.

After that, I think I need to give a shout-out to all my sisters and my brother, and to my bestest friend ever, and all my critique pals.

I'm lucky to have support from spouse, parents, aunts, uncles... They make up my beta-reading crew! Don't know what I'd do without them.

My folks, sisters, bro-in-law and absolute wonderful friends have been amazing. :) I love this post (and your family picture, Miranda)!

What a beautiful photo.

I would have to give a shout for my husband. He knows why. :)

Hi, Miranda's hubby! :)

My husband is also very supportive, even when I'm not making much money, which is usually.

It's so great to hear about all the support you guys receive. We writers are the luckiest people sometimes, right? (Except when we're not making any money, of course.)

My husband and daughter are very supportive. My daughter gets so excited when I have good news to share. She's only four so I'm not sure how much she really understands (as far as what my excitement means) but I love her enthusiasm. My parents, sister, and friends are also amazingly supportive. I don't know how I could survive in this industry if I didn't have all of them.
